Welcome to the CHIC 2012 Online Registration!
Here are a couple things to keep in mind as you begin the registration process…
Who May Attend?
High school students are eligible to attend CHIC if:
1. They will complete grade 9, 10, 11, or 12 in the 2011-2012 school year, AND
2. They will be at least 15 years old as of September 1, 2012
Students may attend CHIC a second time if they are completing grade 12 in the 2011-2012 school year.
The CHIC Staff would like to accommodate all students and will make every reasonable effort to include students with physical, mental, or emotional impairments who are able to function in a public school setting. Each special needs student must provide an adult companion that is at least 19 years old. The adult companion must complete the Staff application and training process. If necessary, CHIC staff members may be available to serve as companions for students with special needs. All of the buildings and events at the University of Tennessee are handicap accessible and a van will be available to transport special needs students and companions around the campus. Please complete the Special Needs Form included in the Information Pack and return it with your registration materials so that we can provide the best possible service to youth with special needs.

Student Regular
Full Payment - $590

Adult
Full Payment - $545
Deposit - $50
Deposit due upon registration. Balance due May 9, 2012.
Student Late
Full Payment – $625 – Due June 15, 2012.
NOTE: No new student registrations will be accepted after June 15, 2012.
Who May Serve at CHIC 2012?
- Counselors must be at least 21 years of age by September 1, 2012.
- Staff must be at least 19 years of age by September 1, 2012.
- Special Needs Companions must be at least 19 years of age by September 1, 2012.
Applicants must also be able to articulate their faith in Jesus Christ and be willing to readily share that faith commitment with others. Applicants must have a heart for young people, and be willing to operate within the guidelines and framework of CHIC 2012. Current participation in youth ministry will be considered in the selection process.
Scholarship Information:
- Limited scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
- Each registered church is eligible to apply for one (1) scholarship in the amount of $500.
- Scholarship applications will not be accepted after February 1, 2012.
As You Register:
- Be sure to enter the total number of students and adults that you will be registering with your group.
- If you know specific individuals who will be attending, enter their information as fully as possible.
- If not, you may enter Student 1, Student 2, etc. and similarly you may enter Adult 1, Adult 2, etc. I f you do not have your staff set as of yet.
- Make sure you’ve got everyone accounted for and double-check your information because after the information is submitted, no edits can be made online!
- There is a $50 deposit required per spot registered, and this is non-refundable. You may choose to pay by credit card, or by church check and make payable to UT Conferences and send to:

Next Steps:
- You will receive a confirmation message sent to the email address you provided as your login ID (which will be your login ID for any future changes/additions you may need to submit online).
- Once UT has processed your group’s initial registration, a link will be sent to your email address with instructions as to how to complete entering the necessary demographic information for each member of your group.
- You may make additions to your group by clicking on the Group Additions link, using the same email address as you did to create the login ID previously. Repeat the process outlined above to complete these additional registrations.

NOTE: All registration processes are also available on paper by completing the necessary forms and mailing them to UT Conferences. Complete form packets will be distributed by mail in June 2011. Group leaders may complete part, all, or none of their registration processes online based on their own personal preference.
